Centennial, Colo. — January 9, 2026 — SKYDEX Technologies, Inc. (SKYDEX), a global leader in advanced protective technologies, announces a leadership transition as Chief Executive Officer Alvaro Vaselli has accepted a new professional opportunity. During his tenure, Vaselli led a period of meaningful operational and commercial progress, including strengthening the Company’s leadership team, expanding global partnerships, improving operating discipline, and positioning SKYDEX for scalable growth across its core markets. We thank Vaselli for his contributions and look forward to his active involvement with SKYDEX as an advisor to the Company’s Board of Directors.

This transition reflects the Board’s confidence in the Company’s strengthened organizational foundation and its readiness to execute the next phase of growth.

Collin Metzer will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer. Metzer brings two decades of experience at SKYDEX, having held a variety of leadership roles across engineering, operations, and product development. His deep institutional knowledge and hands-on leadership style have been instrumental in the Company’s success by driving operational execution, product innovation, and cross-functional alignment across the organization.

Additionally, Frank Mendicino will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board and as a senior strategic advisor, a role he has held since the Company’s inception.
