SKYDEX Sponsors Army Ten-Miler Racers

Oct 12, 2009 (Washington, D.C)- SKYDEX Technologies, leading supplier in blast limiting, cushioning and vibration attenuation technology for the US Military, was proud to sponsor over 200 runners in the Army Ten-Miler. In its 25th year, the race drew over 30,000 registered runners to the DC area outside the Pentagon on October 4h.

This was truly a record breaking year with both the overall male and female record being overtaken and the Army Ten-Miler reclaiming its name as the largest 10 mile race in the country. All proceeds of the race go to support Soldier Moral, Welfare and Recreation (MWR).

SKYDEX sponsored teams from Ft. Myer, the National Guard and the Air National Guard with uniforms and shoes for their participants. “It’s absolutely amazing to see so many veterans, active duty soldiers and their friends and family out in support. It reminds me that this is much more than business and we are lucky to be involved in such an inspirational community,” said President and CEO of SKYDEX.
