SKYDEX seating designs are currently being developed for the U.S. Military to lessen chronic and increasingly pervasive back injuries. These same risks exist in commercial and industrial environments. Compressed and eroded foam provides little to no protection for drivers from normal levels of vibration and rough working conditions that workers experience on forklifts, lawn mowers, mining, construction and other heavy duty equipment. Repetitive impact and consistent use of the standard foam seating can lead to employee injury, fatigue and an overall decline in performance.
